Erica Bridgeman
Erica Bridgeman is a community radio broadcaster, podcaster, artist, hobbyist photographer and a certified Non-Linear Movement Method ® teacher. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications and was a recipient of the City of Oakland’s Individual Artist grant for the creation of The African American Living Histories Project. As a freelance writer, she wrote a monthly column for the Bay Area BusinessWomen newspaper highlighting the accomplishments of women in commerce, community development, education, and the arts and sciences. She was a contributor to the book anthology, Body & Soul: The Black Woman's Guide to Physical Health and Emotional Well-being as well as a contributor to Oakland Magazine. Erica has moderated live, in-person events for 94.1 KPFA-FM featuring world-renowned authors Edwidge Dandicat, Eve Ensler, and Rebecca Solnit.
Erica’s long-term interest in the intersection of disease, health, alternative medicine, meditation and quantum physics led her to launch the podcast, Living Healthy Despite Chronic Conditions where she dialogues with people overcoming significant health challenges by engaging in amazing, creative ventures that were a direct result of their health condition.
